The connection to my theme is Cruelty.

I think this qoute means if you want others and yourself to be happy then you need to show compassion to them and yourself by practicing and practicing so that you would become a better perosn to make others happy or just smile and laugh maybe.
The opposite of Compassion is Cruelty.

I think this qoute means that if you try to be cruel to others the fear of the victim is going to be shaking because they are nervous of what cruel thing your going to do. The qoute where it says "
shakes hands together" I think it means how you would get a feeling inside of you of unhappiness and afraidness and how you shaking and waiting for that to not happen to you.

It is compassionate because he was able to tell his friend that he squash his village instead of wait till he come over to get it but he was cruel to take the Blokes advice and squash his friend’s village, that they have been working on. This sentences from the story shows compassionate, “You’ve got to phone Hashim and own up to what you’ve done. When I phone Hashim his voice dies at the end of the line.” And a sentence from the story that shows cruelty is “I’ve done it. I’ve don’t the Blokes dirty work.” This shows cruelty because he didn't want to do it but the Blokes told him that if he didn't do it he would tell the secret of his dad. So instead he took saving dad instead of a broken friendship that might happen.

Egypt: In the city of Cairo, Egypt, a protest has been going on. The protest was to get President Hosni Mubarak to step down, since he was the president from 1981 to 2011. This situation shows both compassionate and cruelty. It shows cruelty because the people of Egypt wanted the president to step down but he would not until , and so the President must have felt disapionted and his feeling where crushed. This shows cruelty that everyone was going against him. This also shows compassionate because since this protest agianst him lasted for 18 days, he decided to step down, so the people of Egypt where happy and compassionate that they will have a better leader that will help them more. Now the people of Egypt are very compassionate that President Hosni Mubarak has step down from becoming president.
